Having Stomach Acid reflux also called as GERD or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is a condition generally brings the chronic bout of chest pain, excessive salivation, nausea, dysphagia ( problem when swallowing), food regurgitation, vomiting, heartburn, odynophagia (pain when swallowing) symptoms in adults. Unfortunately, GERD also presents itself in children and infants below the 12 age.

Most common pediatric Gastroesophageal Reflux disease symptoms include coughing, bad breathe, failure to gain some extra weight, drink, refusing food and repetitive belching or burping in the food absence and many respiratory problem forms. Even though there is no such cure of the acid reflux and stomach problem, there are some natural, safe and effective home remedies that a person can try in order to ease some of the symptoms like:

  • Regular intake of ginger tea with each meal. Ginger has its wonderful calming benefits when it is in relation of GERD. It may help to reduce the instances of odynophagia and dysphagia in adults, and frequent belching in the children. Just boil the slices of fresh ginger roots in four cups of strain and water. After that add sugar or honey to taste.
  • Regular taking of apple cider vinegar after your each meal. It helps to boost the digestion by making food easier to digest in the stomach. This will help the acids to settle down. Regular taking of this will also make you less prone to excessive salivation, heartburn, and food regurgitation. It will also aid in reducing the bad breath as well as repetitive belching in the children.
  • The best alternative may be to buy powder form of ginger tea. Best is to mix one tablespoon with lukewarm when needed.

Drinking lavender tea and anise to ease the heartburn symptoms. Both seeds consist of many compounds that will stimulate the stomach muscle to get more relaxed. It makes it simpler for the food to get digested and reduces the instances of unwanted build up of gas in the stomach or blotting. It in turn reduces or eliminates painful heartburns.
