Some Best Tips to Avoid Eating Extra Calories

Do you love to have French fries and Burgers? Do you want to have pizza with cheese? Wondering where all these calories going? How about delicious chocolate soufflé? These are all foods that our mind craves for and not our body. The reason is that all these foods affect our body system.  We can control our diet easily when we are at our home, but we find hard to control ourselves when being outside. This article will give you some tips or ways to avoid extra calories from our foods. These are:

  • When ordering something through the menu card, avoid any food that is deep fried or crispy. Order the salad with food, but make sure that it includes low calorie dressing.
  • Avoid food items like cheese, mayonnaise, croutons and crispy noodles. Instead, go for a green salad with a dressing of vinaigrette dressing. If you want to order poultry or fish, ask for steamed, broiled, grilled or baked ones.
  • Say no to anything batter dipped, pan fried, crispy or creamy as it contains unhealthy fats. Instead, you can go for boiled or steamed vegetables. Avoid grilled chicken that comes with cheese, mayo or sour cream, as these are fattening dips. Plan your menu in advance if you want to eat healthy. Take decision about what food items you have to take finally.
  • Drink as much as possible ice cold water. It is best to make yourself feel full for longer time that also helps in burning fat.  If you get hunger pain, you can chew gum or go for ice- cream.  It actually sends the signal of full to your brain.
  • There are many people who love to eat late night snack & crave for sweet. They can go for bowl of chopped sweet fruits. Better have smaller meal for 6 times as this will reduce your unnecessary hunger.
  • To reduce extra calories you can also add few more things to the healthy diet plan. For example, avoid regular café latte that consists of around 190 calories. Better start using green tea as it is high in antioxidants and aid to fight cancer. It also stimulates metabolism and thus, leads to fast food digestion.

These are some of the food habits and lifestyle changes that you can easily adopt, so think twice before you eat unhealthy food, choose wisely as well as always remember that this isn’t really difficult to go for healthy food and maintain a balanced diet.
