Running to Lose Weight – Is It safe for Health?

There is some common difference between losing weight and running as the running is one of the best methods of cardio exercises. It is one of the most effective and healthy methods. But to start on this method to lose weight, one has to consider these things in mind to carry it further:

  • Have you ever gone under any major surgery?
  • If female, then do you have children? If yes, then were the deliveries normal or caesarean?
  • Are you addicted to alcohol, drugs or cigarettes?
  • How old are you?

Your answers may help the doctor in deciding whether you are fit for the exercise to run. Once confirmed that you are suitable to run, this method can easily be applied. Once you are certified fit, you can include running in your exercise regime:

  • Try to put on proper clothes- track suit would be best.
  • Run for at least 45 minutes early morning.
  • Try to continue it for at least six months-because if you give up in between, you may end up gaining weight.
  • Start first with jogging and then pick up running.
  • Do buy proper shoes for the running otherwise you may end up in foot problems.
  • Carry a hand towel with you to wipe the sweat from the body.

Running will definitely help:

  • Increase the body metabolism.
  • Build the body muscles.
  • Tone the body.
  • Reduce the body fat.
  • Control the blood pressure and cholesterol level in the body by strengthening your heart.

Its benefits are truly incredible since it helps you to achieve the goal of looking slim. So…make most of this exercise; run to your ultimate health.
