A good home remedy for seeking relief from chicken pox is vitamin E oil. This oil not only relieves from itching but also helps in removing or minimizing the scarring. These are applied directly on the skin. Applying vitamin E oil once or twice a day provides great relieves.
Honey is yet another good home remedy providing great relieves from chicken pox sufferings. It can be directly applied on the skin and results are felt immediately. Though being messy it is a useful and relieving way of reducing chicken pox sufferings. Many reports suggest that those who applied honey healed at a much faster rate than those who did not used honey at all. Hence this home remedy also provides quick healing along with quick relieves.
No matter which type of remedy you opt for your child, it is essential that you discuss about the disease with your child. Explain him the do’s and don’ts that he must be taking care of. Also inform your child is it not recommended to directly itch the infected areas and assist him in believing that these bumps and scarring will soon disappear. The right decision at the right time will help parents in quickly relieving their child from this disease.
