Oats which are usually known as naked oats consist of high nutrition, low sugar and high energy food. These, nutrients in the oat are not available in abundance but are very good in quality. It has been recognized as the most popular food in the modern period. After the process of refining, oat can be used as oatmeal, which can be easily eaten and it also tastes good due to which it is widely accepted diet among the people.

Since, oat is very rich in zinc and vitamin B and both of these have regulating effects on the process of metabolism of fat and carbohydrates, it also helps in reducing the cholesterol level in the body. Their regular consumption helps to prevent the vascular and cerebral diseases which mostly damage elderly people and middle-aged.
Regular intake of oats in the diet of the diabetic patients is very beneficial for their health. it is very effective method for weight loss and reduce the level of glucose, and also helps in relaxing the bowels. It is not only rich in plant fibers, but also contains plenty of vitamins B12 and vitamin B1, which helps to regulate the function of digestive tract. Furthermore, many old people usually complain of having the dry stool which easily causes accident in cerebral vascular.
It also improves the blood circulation of the body and it relives the pressure in life and work. Oats also consist of phosphorus, zinc, calcium and other minerals, which help in preventing osteoporosis in pregnant women and old human beings by helping in the process of healing. Because, it is a high quality food so it prevents anemia from occurring by adding calcium supplementation. It also activates the lipids level in the blood to make body to function properly. It can be eaten by all the people and especially helpful for old people who can have it in their diet.
