Inability to attain the erection to carry out satisfactory sexual intercourse is termed as Impotence. It is widespread in old folks who are above 65 years of age, but can occur at any age. It can arise due to high blood sugar level, hardening of the arteries, increased blood pressure, improper medication, marital insecurities, stress etc.

Caffeine, diuretics, sedatives, narcotics, etc are the elements which when taken inside causes this deformity. Certain medical conditions also cause impotence. These are heart disease, diabetes, hypoglycemia etc. Job stresses, unemployment, lifestyle changes, smoking, drinking, are the activities that have a profound effect on sexual desires and relative performance.
Drinking water in a huge volume comparatively half the body weight helps in flushing the body to reorganize its sexual mechanisms. Exercise also fights against the dysfunction by keeping the circulation levels higher. Simple breathing techniques are also preferable as it increase the circulation as well as slows it down.
Having fiber based diet is advisable to counter the problem. Stress can be reduced by rising early as well as by meditation. Fast foods and processed foods are full of cholesterol. It is sensible to avoid it.
