HOW TO FIND REMEDY TO TREAT INGROWN HAIR AT HOME?

The disorder in which the tip of the hair gets back into the skin, termed as ingrown hair. It is common in curly haired persons. These are usually provoked by shaving.
The most cost effective measure to get rid of ingrown hairs is applying salt with other natural elements. It is cheap and easy to apply. It facilitates the skin to bring out the tip of the hair outside the skin. Using baking soda with liquid soap along with sugar helps to fight off the ingrown hair.
But most widely accepted remedy is using sugar paste. It tenderly exfoliates the facial skin to give it a smooth look. Shaving frequently but gently, blocks the tip of hair to penetrate inside the skin. It is however advisable to avoid electric shavers as it causes the hair to move around in many directions.
Stiff, high collar shirt facilitates the growth of ingrown hair. If possible physically remove the ingrown hair with the help of forceps. Body scrubs are also a useful tool to eradicate the problem. Waxing is also widely used to take care of the ingrown hairs. Scrubbing helps to ward off oils, dirt and skin cells which are trapping the ingrown hair. It is also essential to press washcloth dipped in warm water against the ingrown hair. This helps in bringing the tip of the hair closer to the surface.
Cucumber and milk both the elements of the nature mixed and kept in freeze to get cold, forms the perfect mixture to eradicate the itchiness for a few moments, caused by the problem. It is soaked in cloth and applied in the affected areas and is then washed off.
Application of Aloe Vera twice daily on the affected area initially subsidizes the inflammation and then finally removes the ingrown hair. Glycolic acid present in sugarcane, Lemon acid extracted from lemons etc exfoliate the skin and thereby reduces the itchiness and swelling caused by the ingrown hair.
