How to Fight Against Dry Skin?

Due to several factors extreme climate, detergents, low diet and hot bath the skin becomes dry. The extreme temperatures dry the oil secreted by sebaceous gland, which helps in the lubrication of the surface of skin. Dry skin looks dull, rough and scaly. Dry kin can also be caused due to smoking and sun tanning. The heat from sun dries up the moisture of the skin. The lack of water in the top layer of the skin makes it dry.
Remedies to fight against dry skin.
- Keep the temperature cool. Low temperature keeps the skin moist .For skin sixty percent humidity is the best. You can also raise the humidity levels in the living place. This prevents the moisture from being drawn from the skin.
- If you are going out wear full sleeves shirt to prevent from the heat of the sun. Use the sunscreen which protects your skin from being dry and tanned. Cover yourself as much you can. It will really help you. During sun bathing, apply cream lotion and spray the skin with mineral water. It keeps your skin moist.
- Whenever you drink alcohol, the moisture is lost from the skin. You should not use alcohol based products on the skin. Whenever you cleanse your skin with alcohol based cosmetics, the skin cells looses moisture and minerals. You should use the cosmetic which contains glycerin and panthenol.
- Dry skin is most common on the parts of the body which is often exposed to cleansers and detergents. Use the organic bath soap which contains Shea and cocoa butters to cure dry skin.
- Use oil after bathing. It sooths the irritated parts and relieves the chapped skin. Use oil which contains vitamin A, D and E
The good balance of oil and moisture makes your skin healthy and youthful. Understand the causes of moisture loss and applies remedy to it. Eat balanced diet.Take foods which are high in sulphur which keeps the skin smooth and youthful .Do regular exercises. You will have healthy skin.
