Have More Foods with Antioxidants and Stay Younger

Women aspire to be younger all their life-they are naturally driven with an urge to keep themselves younger against all odds. They constantly look for ways so as not to age as they advance in years. All these women need not try too hard. They need only mind what they eat and what they shouldn’t at the same time. Thus goes the ‘remade’ saying-consuming fresh vegetables and fruits daily keep the cosmetics away.

You might have heard of free radicals- though a complex concept but let’s try to understand it-oxygen which is crucial for our survival carry out a number of chemical reactions when interacts with other elements; as a result the oxidization of these elements give way to a great number of free atom radicals and these chemically unstable atoms may wreak havoc on human body when they are stimulated in our daily life by smoking, fried or grilled foods, UV rays of the sun and all kinds of pollution.

The diseases a human being suffers from have lot to do with these free atom radicals. They can trigger coronary heart disease, cancer, premature aging and so on. Free radicals accelerate the aging process by destroying healthy cells and the DNA in the nucleus that lead to canceration and cytopathic effect.

To counter the harmful effects of free atom radicals, one needs to eat lots of fruits and vegetables since they provide the antioxidants to our body. Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and a few trace elements such as selenium, zinc and the like are the nutrients found in vegetables and fruits are good antioxidants. The foods that are listed below are mostly enriched with these components:

Vitamin A – vegetables like pumpkin ad carrots, fish and yellow fruits like oranges and mango.

Vitamin C – potatoes, sweet potatoes, green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, berries like blueberries, raspberries, strawberries et cetera.

Vitamin E – Nuts, avocado, fish oil, vegetable oil seeds.

Zinc – fish, almonds, pumpkin, sunflower.

Selenium – cabbage, Brazil nuts, tuna.

Staying younger becomes easy when you include these food items with maximum antioxidants in your daily diet. Here, have these foods and stop counting the years.
