A good complement and the most affordable source of vitamin C are potatoes. The skin contains most fiber and the flesh contains most vitamins C. Fresh potatoes are very rich in fiber and vitamin C. Whole wheat pasta is rich in iron, fiber and niacin. Complex carbohydrates in it are an important part of healthy diet and play an important role in improving the immune system. So go for traditional pasta with whole wheat variety in place of nutritious and delicious tastes on your favorite pasta dishes.
Yogurt comprises live cultures and positively affects your GI tract thereby purging germs more quickly and effectively and helps your body fight flu. Additionally, if you desire that your yogurt should consist of active culture L. acidophilus, then it helps knocking out yeast infections too.
