We all wish to be proud showing off our good physique at the beach. Apart from other body parts, the biceps play the key role in determining the level of our physique. A well toned and mass bicep muscles are good representations of strengths. The bicep muscles are relatively smaller than other muscles constituting only the third part of the muscle arm. The triceps are bigger than the biceps and well developed triceps support the bicep looks.
Here we provide 2 effective ways for building huge biceps that make your appearance lot stronger –
- The standing barbell curls are the most preferred and recommended workout for developing good biceps. But as simple it looks many people do it wrong. It is better and more effective when you do it slowly and in a controlled manner. Load a barbell with weights which you can easily lift. Stand comfortably with your legs a shoulder apart. Hold the barbell with uphand grips over your thighs with your hands on sides of your body. Then slowly lift your hands towards shoulder while trying to keep the elbows close to your body. Lower the hands gently back to the hanging position. The more you do it slowly the more accurate and effective you will be pumping your bicep muscles. EZ barbells just provide further ease for doing the barbell curls.
- The dumbbell curl is another great exercise for developing mass bicep muscles. But again, no matter how simple it appears many people do it wrong. For doing the dumbbell curls hold a pair of dumbbells in your hands with hands along your sides. Gently lift your one hand towards your shoulder. Lower it back slowly while moving the other hand towards the shoulders. Your another hand should be in the upward position while you the first hangs down to its starting position. While moving the hands down make have a habit of swinging it backwards. This is what makes the exercise loose all its effects. Never swing your hands backwards while doing the dumbbell curls as it simply wastes your power and energy resulting in no good.
With lighter weighs you can perform 11-12 reps in 3 sets while with heavier weights you can perform 7-8 reps for the same number of sets. Building massive muscles is the primary goal for most men. But many are not able to achieve it as they do the workouts just in a wrong manner. Doing it slowly and accurately is more effective. Combine it with a well balanced diet and within a few months you will be showing off your massive biceps on the beach.
