7 Tips on Maintaining Acne Free Skin

Acne is a very natural symptom of attaining puberty. When a human attains puberty, the sebum gland starts to secrete oil with the result of excess oil on the skin the skin pores to get clogged and as a result the acne erupts all over the face.   • The best way to regulate the amount of acne on the face is to regulate the amount of junk food. Junk food is the source of bad cholesterol and saturated fat in the body. The reason for excessive oil secretion may not only be the sebaceous gland. It can be the excessive fat you take in your diet. Furthermore, consuming food from outside is not a very healthy option. To have acne free skin you need to curb your intake of fast foods.
  • Then you should take care of the green vegetables in your diet. Green vegetables are responsible for the suppleness of the skin and the good health of the digestive system. We already are aware of the connection between the stomach and the skin. Hence, to have a good skin we need to check what goes into our stomach.
  • Apart from taking moisture and water from the diet, your body takes water in the original form. You drink water and provide the body with its daily requirements. A good skin depends on the amount of water you drink every day. To keep your skin clean and glowing you need to drink a lot of water. This would act as the natural cleanser for the body and the skin.
  • A clean skin is the road to the healthy skin.
  • Exfoliate regularly. This would get your face rid of all the dead cells. With no dirt and grime on the face, it would glow and look healthy.
  • Use oil free moisturizing agents. Since the cause of acne is excessive oil, hence it is advised not to moisturize the skin with oil based moisturizer. Those who do not moisturize the skin at all thinking that their skin is dry are doing a bigger mistake. Moisturization is very necessary. It keeps the skin supple and free from the risk of germs and bacteria. Taking care of the skin to this extent would certainly keep the acne at bay.
  • Apart from these directions, you can also contact the dermatologists. They would give you a customized cure for the acne. They would consider all your constraints and would give a solution best suited.
