7 Steps Prevent Diabetes
Diabetes is a well known and a common disease among the people spreading at a vast rate. A number of people are still not aware about the disease. The prevalence has increased and will extend with the increasing population. It is one of the major criterions for deaths in the community. It’s a metabolic disorder in the human body. Due to this disorder, the body is unable to produce insulin in a proper way. It is a hormone which converts food, sugar and starch into energy. It is verified by a high level of glucose in blood. The body maintains the glucose level in a narrow range. It is performed through glucagons and insulin. The liver releases glucose with the help of glucagons to produce energy. Diabetes is mainly constituted of three types:
- First type of diabetes slows down a human’s carefree life.
- Second type of diabetes also performs the same disorder.
- Final is the Gestational diabetes.
Diabetes is such a disease, which is not totally curable but it can be controlled. Here are some steps given to prevent diabetes.
- A good and healthy diet must be followed. A good diet chart should be prepared so that a healthy diet one must have. The intake of junk food and beverages should be avoided. Less fat content food should be preferred. The body gains less weight through this and food containing more glucose increases the weight. So, a healthy diet helps to prevent diabetes in a good manner. The body requires a great amount of energy to interrupt proteins and carbohydrates from being used by complex molecules. So, during digestion body burns more calories, which reduce weight.
- Some physical exercise must be done to prevent diabetes. It helps to increase the basal rate of the body which causes in weight reduction. To maintain a good metabolism rate exercise should be done regularly. Aerobic exercise prevents diabetes.
- If there is any addiction of any drug, it must be stopped. Consumption of alcohol, smoke sticks may also lead to diabetes. A drug addiction causes serious results, which may also lead to diabetes. So, it’s better to get rid of it as soon as possible.
- Consumption of fewer calories and burning more calories also prevents from getting diabetic. Less intake of calories helps in quick digestion. Burning of more calories makes the appetite healthier.
- One should have regular check up. You should know the current situation of the body to overcome any problems. The doctor helps to overcome from any complications let you know the better treatment. He makes you aware of the risk factors. Glucose should always be measured after a certain period of time.
- It should be taken care of that you eat fruits and green vegetables. The fruits make the immune system strong to cope with diseases. The production of insulin is stimulated with the help of fruits and vegetables.
- Blood pressure maintenance is also necessary. Because, if one has high blood pressure, it may lead to diabetes.
